| About the Program |

Globalization of business activities at all levels has created a strong need of management graduates trained in the domain of international business. Cross country cultural and corporate behavior needs to be understood in its heterogeneity to be successful global corporate player. Hosts of multinational and transnational business groups are looking for these trained personnel to handle these operations.
The focus of this Two Year Full Time Post Graduate Program is on making students learn the nature, scope and structure of International Business and understand the influence of various environmental factors on international business operations and to familiarize the students with cross-culture behavior and its uses for successful operations of international firms. The program is affiliated to HNB Garhwal University and Approved by University Grants Commission (UGC)
Special emphasis is placed on contemporary topics of International Trade like International Supply chain Management & Logistics, International Advertising and Brand Management, International Human Resource Management, Global Strategic Management, International Financial Sector & Market, Legal Dimensions of International Business etc. Foreign languages like French are an integral part of the MIB program taught at IMS. |
