Placement Process
|
The process begins with the induction of the student in the Institute and is a continuous process where a student has to undergo during their stay in the Institute and all that results in the final placement of the student in a company. Each student has to formally register himself / herself for availing the on-campus or off-campus placement opportunities provided by the Institute. There are parameters laid for down for the students to strictly adhere to in order to be eligible for placement opportunities provided by the Institute.
Non- Registered candidates are not eligible to sit for the final placement process.
The major focus of the process is on:
1. Placement (Employment)
The division facilitates Summer Internship and Final Employment activities including various other year long activities for a better understanding of the corporate world. The major work undertaken is mentioned

• Short term projects
• Live Projects
• National & International Industry Visits
• Networking with professional bodies
• Job Search on the basis of Industry Preferences
• Industry Mentoring
2. Regular Corporate Interaction :
A high level of Industry Interface helps the students understand different industries better. Regular guest speakers from different industries come and share their real life experiences with the students where the students get a hands on with the Industry standards.
3. Life Skills
The IMS programme goes far beyond developing communication skills it seeks to make significant changes to the student's sense of self-esteem, while nurturing him as a social being. Life skills are problem solving behaviors used appropriately and responsibly in the management of personal affairs. The managers of today need to sharpen these skills
Leadership and the potential to solve problems is an essential attribute for the manager of today. The Life Skills programme will train budding managers in the skills required for decision making, taking initiative and influencing others.
The programme on life skills aims at:-
• Managing and empowering self
• Fostering Team Work
• Developing Business Etiquette and personal grooming
• Workplace and personal ethics
• Interpersonal skills - includes emotional intelligence
• Leadership , negotiation and influencing skills

The process of placement can be summarized as under:
Curriculum Vitae Designing:
The institute has a standard format of CV's of the students applying to various organizations. However, in case the organization has a format of its own, it should be sent in advance to facilitate the process.
Internship
At the end of the first year, the students of MBA are required to undergo for Summer Internship for 8 weeks during the months of June and July. The MCA student on the other hand have to go for a six months Internship where they have to work in a domain of their specialization. MAMC students go for a 6 weeks Internship program in a media organization of repute.
The objective of Internship is to give students an opportunity to apply management techniques, develop sound decision making abilities and learn about organizational structure and culture.
Pre Placement Talk (PPT)
The Pre-Placement Talk has been the standard practice to facilitate interaction between the industry and the students. The organizations participating in the placement process are requested to make a brief presentation about themselves, the opportunities and prospects ahead for the aspirants along with the detailed job description for the positions they wish to recruit for. In order to facilitate the process of PPT, the institute will provide necessary infrastructure.
Final Placement
The Campus Recruitment Program of our PG Courses commences in the month of August. The students are gearing up to deliver their best to you in Recruitment Process of your esteemed Organization. Students are full of energy and new thoughts, capable to handle recent as well as upcoming challenges of the corporate world.
