B.A. LL.B (Integrated 5 year course)
Eligibility: 45% marks
in 10+2 (General) or 40% marks in 10+2 (SC/ST*)
This is an integrated 5 year course which was conceived with an objective to bring legal education
at par with other professional courses like medicine and engineering, where a student
fresh out of high-school can make an immediate career choice. The curriculum for the course is a mix of social-science subjects and legal subjects. In the first two years, a student at USL will be
taught History, Political Science, Sociology and Economics along with the standard legal subjects.
After that it is mainly legal subjects that constitute the curriculum. In the final year the students get to specialize in whichever areas they like and to do seminar courses in them. There is a plethora
of Seminar Courses offered right from Air & Space law and Medical Law to
Cyber Laws.

year programme)
 Eligibility: Graduation
with 45% marks (General) or 40% marks (SC/ST)
This is a 3 year course which deals entirely with areas of legal
education. Practical training will be imparted by the faculty and other eminent professionals. Visits to courts located at Dehradun and Nainital have also been planned at regular intervals. Students are to be put through the Moot Court experience under the watchful eyes of eminent judicial personalities.
