The faculty members will offer consulting services in functional and cross functional areas of business management.

Our R & D wing is greatly concerned with the quality of students as well. The main objective of R & D wing is to inculcate among students a rational and analytical mindset so that they can become good decision-makers under uncertain, strained, and dynamic business environment. The syllabus for all courses is a mixed blend of practical and conceptual flavor. Apart from regular teachers, experts from other Industry and Institutes are invited to deliver lectures on topic of current interest. This not only supplements the institutional part but also provides opportunities to students to interact with the experts. Case study based pedagogy is used that equips them with the practical knowledge of real life business problem. Besides, they are exposed to management games, extempore exercise and role plays to understand conceptual and application skills. Group discussion on the latest issues is a regular practice at IMS Dehradun. Besides, we also teach them stress management techniques so that they can feel relaxed in the strained working conditions of today's corporate world. Industrial visits are the essential part of the curriculum.

Recently, an Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) has been set up that will not only aware the students about prevailing business opportunities but also assist them to start a new venture after completion of their course. The EDC will be performing various activities with the support and sponsorship of Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), Gandhinagar that is the apex body in the country to promote entrepreneurship and is established by the Department of Science and Technology of Government of India. Besides, the process of setting up an Institution Industry Partnership (IIP) is also going on which will bring ample opportunities for our learners.
