Withdrawal Policy

POLICY OF WITHDRAWAL FROM VARIOUS FACILITIES/COURSES

IMS is bound to implement the refund policy prescribed by authorities. Candidates are advised to fill 'Withdrawal Form' available at IMS website/Registrar's office for availing the facility. Withdrawal shall be considered as per the policies defined as under:

Hostel charges

	In the event of a student withdrawing from the hostel before commencement of the course, the whole hostel charges deposited by the student will be refunded after deducting Rs. 1,000/- towards processing charges.
	In the event of a student vacating the hostel after commencement of the course or asked to vacate due to disciplinary action, no amount against hostel rent will be refunded. However, proportionate amount for Messing/Laundry and Hostel Security shall be refunded. However, Rs. 1,000/- will be deducted towards processing charges.

Transportation charges

	In the event of a student withdrawing from the transportation facility before commencement of the course, the whole transportation charges deposited by the student will be refunded after deducting Rs. 1,000/- towards processing charges.
	In the event of a student withdrawing from the transportation facility after commencement of the course, no refund will be admissible.

Academic Fee (for programes affiliated to HNB Garwal University)

	In the event of a student withdrawing from Course before commencement of the course, entire amount paid except study material charges and Uniform charges, if ordered/issued, provided the seat falling vacant is filled subsequently, will be refunded. However, Rs. 1,000/-will be deducted towards processing charges.
	In the event of a student withdrawing from Course after commencement of the course, no refund, except Security amount and other unused part of exam fee after adjusting all valid dues will be admissible. In addition to this, Rs. 1,000/-will be deducted towards processing charges.

Academic Fee (for programes affiliated to UTU)

	In the event of a student withdrawing from Course before commencement of the course, entire amount paid except study material charges and Uniform charges, if ordered/issued will be refunded, provided the seat falling vacant is filled subsequently before the last date of admission. However, Rs. 1,000/-will be deducted towards processing charges.
	In the event of a student withdrawing from Course after commencement of the course but earlier than the last date of admission, proportionate refund of tuition fee for balance months except study material charges and Uniform charges, if ordered/issued will be admissible, provided the seat falling vacant is filled subsequently. However, Rs. 1,000/-will be deducted towards processing charges.
	In the event of a student withdrawing from Course after commencement of the course and elapse of last date of admission, no refund except Security amount and other unused part of exam fee will be admissible. In addition to this, Rs. 1,000/-will also be deducted towards processing charges.
